  • I love the cozy Winter.. but Spring is coming.. which I do like but it's the 'transition' that sort of bothers me for some reason

It does look odd, doesn't it? Around here Spring comes earlier. I was mowing the lawn yesterday on an old tractor-mower and watching the weeds coming up before the grass does, now I like that. Weeds are fascinating; they're more like herbs.

I mow the fields where i live too, i love it (riding mower). I also love to learn about edible 'weeds' like dandelions, wild violets ... a friend told me he knew a woman who could make a huge salad just out of the weeds when they would go camping. I don't want to go camping (ha) but i want to learn about wild edibles. I suppose..that's something to look forward to this Spring!
