It's actually so rewarding to mimic old games on your own, even if they're really crude versions. Frogger, snake, and megamania were some of my favorites to recreate so far

Indeed, it is, particularly as a retro fan. Actually the ideas I'm shooting for are sorta themed around 2600 stuff. Mountain King was always spooky and I played WAY too much of it recently so I'm intending to take that idea and run with it. Off a cliff, if need be (well, it's Mountain King, falling off of cliffs is half the experience). But that's a long way off.
