This happened to me once, scared the crap out of me. I thought I had woken up paralyzed. Then I woke up for real, I had been dreaming that I was awake.

I unfortunately have sleep paralysis somewhat frequently... I think it has a correlation with PTSD and trauma in a lot of cases. It is terrifying though.
