I know there are young kids that are allowed to watch adult cartoons but I still find it a bit surprising myself.

Funny to think back to how controversial South Park was when it was new. Now it's been on for decades. Before that, it was The Simpsons and Ren & Stimpy offending parents.

South Park debuted when I was 10, and I knew a number of my friends that would quote the show constantly. Heck, I first saw the movie and Trey Parker's other movie "Orgazmo" when I was 12.

Matt and Trey have admitted themselves that despite technically being an "adult" cartoon show, it is absolutely made with children in mind. I mean, the main characters are a group of middle school kids and the show is chock full of "gross" humor, popular with kids. Not that there's anything wrong with liking it as an adult, mind you.
