Almost exact same situation here. 2 ASD sons. 13yr old higher functioning and a 10yr old mostly nonverbal. Extremely picky eating for the latter. Tolerates 3-4 foods only. Gags at sight of all other foods. Will drink only water from certain type of cup only.

My daughter was at a dim sun restaurant and announced she was having chicken feet. Omg. Her grandmother is Chinese. Totally caught me off guard. They are either picky or too adventurous.
