It’s best to check in with your vet about things like this, I’m not a vet, but I can give advice.
This link is from the manufacturer of my dogs’ medications. I have always found their advice to be reliable.

Otomax is what I use to treat ear infections. It clears them up pretty quickly. Available from most veterinary hospitals with a prescription.

Oh, we already have a prescription bottle. What was giving me trouble was my stepmother's description of how to put it on. She made it sound like "WELL YA JAM IT INTO THE DOG'S EYEBALL AND DO SOME SCRUBBING" when it, well, obviously doesnt work that way. The dog got her first dose of the stuff (applied *properly*, without the whole insane part) and was fine with it. No trouble at all, what a good girl.

Cooper, on the other hand, doesnt take to his eardrops very well. He'll try to run and hide if he's aware that they are coming, really hates it. Still a good boy though.

Dec sounds rough for you right now.

My fancy car decided not to start, then l couldn't get in with the key. Defective new battery. It's just a uncool December. Lol

Yeah, you don't "jam it into the dog's eyeball" lmao... sounds like you've learned how to apply it properly. You might want to show your stepmother how to do it... I'm glad Dingle didn't mind it too much though.
Enzo runs away and hides when I give him ear drops too. I have to use a really "high-value" (meaty and stinky) treat to lure him, and then reward him profusely afterwards. Lol
