Yeah, I'm not keen on crowds either.

as a woman it´s often difficult, but as a normal sized man I just say "excuse me" and when they not listen than "EXCUSE ME" and when this not helps I can just go "through" people. I just walk and because most people don´t want to collide, they then move.

I can favor you to just walk, maybe speed up, most people then step aside : D

or walk into the people and push them softly away. in emergency, put your ellbows outside.

or in emergency, just wear this and start running and when you´re on your goal shout "TOUCH DOWN!"
