she must really hate you, when she brings you a bounty bar

Nah, she just doesn't check the ingredients. Many times she's bought back something that looks really nice but it has something I'm allergic to in it!

hope you got the "joke". in our school we also said how crappy the bounty bar is, in relation to the other bars. the most liked mars, but I liked rather twix. snickers was also not bad. even milkyway. BUT BOUNTY BAR??? AAAAH : O

yes to speak serious: it´s still friendly of her to bring you something and it was sure good meant.

I get the joke alright but I like Bounty bars! Twix and Snickers were alright but I found Mars to be sickly sweet and not nice. Milky Way just didn't taste of anything. Weird tastes rule! :D

I ate an healthy oat bar (cheap) without additional sugar (almond, caramel) it tasted really good. I would also eat that thing instead of mars and co lol. I think it´s an german no-name brand.

Sometimes the cheap ones taste way better than the expensive ones. It reminds me of the time Mum bought some sausages that were the most expensive in the shop. They were horrible and the pieces of apple in them were rock hard.

yes, true. I only buy expensive brand products, when I know that nothing else tastes nearly like that (for example nothing tastes like pringles which I know), but I don´t need them always and when there is something cheaper with tastes the same, then I buy the cheaper version.

but atm anyway everything is super expensive lol.

I get the strong feeling that we, the consumers, are being lied to. I smell a really big scam being pulled on us by the media. The proof in my eyes is this; things going normally then the media start shouting 'Oh no, there's going to be a toilet paper shortage'. Everyone then stocks up and behold, a shortage. Now they're going on about how much more expensive things are getting... I see through them.

I don´t know, but I heard that the prices really rised because of inflation and political events, but the companies also because of greed highered the prices ADDITIONALLY to make more money, which I find very immoral, especially in times where everything is anyways very expensive.

I had to give out 330 euro for food (+ things like toilet paper and so on) last month.

in the past I had to give out maybe 170-200 euro or less.

sure, it depends on your size, gender and weight, but still. in the past it was much less.

and I don´t buy things like tabacco and usually also no alcohol.

that´s more than 10% inflation, it´s rather 100%.

This is especially the case if I'm allowed to push it... through the snack food aisle unsupervised... then the cookie aisle....
