Yeah, RGB is quite a thing now. My current case has software controlled RGB fans. The fans are on but the RGB isn't, it gets annoying after a while.

What kindof monitor are you using? That pc you bought can run a 1440p 144hz or 4k 60hz monitor easily. The gpu can also be undervolted with very little performance loss if a lower power usage is something you care about.

When I ordered my last computer the bloke in the shop was disappointed that I insisted on a plain black case. "Something discreet." All those coloured lights are ever so pretty and oh so annoying.

I'm glad you've got your favourite toys back again.

@phantom its just a basic 1080p screen. i wont really notice a resolution change past that, so just sticking with that.

You mean your eyes don't notice more than 1080p? Well if you would want a big crisp 4k monitor with more screen real estate than you can find purpose for your gpu could drive it easily, my 2 cents.
