My doctors should have been prosecuted since Lithium was not meant for 9yo autism patients.

Lithium could have killed me, and it messed me up permanently. I was also given Lithium as a child to treat "behavioral challenges" which were a result of autism, not a mental health issue. They should never, ever prescribe that to children (or really anyone...) This is probably why my brain feels like swiss cheese now. I really don't think children should be given psychiatric medication.

They also told me it would treat depression and it doesn't. I have a lot more of a rant to go into about this but I'll save it for another time.

Did you have blood tests during the times you had Lithium? Tests
to determine the level of it in your blood?
