And I’m scared to death of the police, for the most part (I think it’s obvious why), so if I’m willing to report something to them, you know it’s serious.

Leash laws exist for a reason. Careless owners need to be held accountable, and as stressful as it is, you did the right thing for you and your dogs.

Plus her dog could attack small child next time. That's a serious lawsuit. Reminds of a chow who bit a young boy's face. Big settlement.

You are doing somebody else a favor or protecting a small child or somebody's pet.

You're helping improve the value of your whole neighborhood.
But seriously, you have HUGE dogs, why would her dog have even thought that was a good idea? You either have hunting dogs, or a Newfoundland, or those Dogo Argentino pit-bull looking things. Her dog must be as dumb as she is.

Her dog wasn’t even a big dog. Just had a lot of audacity, I guess. But it’s been reported. My work here is done, lol

Untrained dogs do get aggressive and attack, Luca has been explaining this to us. That's why she is hired to improve the quality of life for the dog and the owner, also resulting in zero liability lawsuits saving the owner, courts costs, and having said pet euthanized.
L
Luca
I don't think the dog will (or should) be euthanized, if this is the first time something like this has happened (but I could be wrong, this might be, like, the 5th time, who knows), but the idiot owner needs some sense talked into her, and depending on what the cops think of her being clearly intoxicated when this happened, maybe the dog should be confiscated, or sent to live with a family member or something.

Luca
My go-to is never to euthanize the dog, if this is a problem that can be solved in some way. But if this has happened before, especially to this extent, the dog is definitely a liability too.

There are at least 3 new people in my neighborhood who are either on drugs or drunk all the time, and it's obviously becoming a problem. One guy came up to me tonight, tall skinny white dude, wasted out of his mind, and asked what my name was like 6 times, and told me I had a nice (and huge) ass.

And at least since Thursday, my next-door neighbor has been outside on his porch or in his yard making a ton of noise, playing insanely loud music and talking to his girlfriend (who doesn't live here) super loudly. His porch is right next to my bedroom window. It has not been a good week, lol

It's always white people too lol, like I feel like because of certain stereotypes people would expect ME to be like this, but it's always redneck white folks.
L
Luca
The reason that I'm mentioning that it's white people, is that certain people kept complaining about there being other black/brown people in this neighborhood because they assumed WE would be the ones doing drugs and making noise, but it's never us, lol

Here in the UK there are laws relating to keeping a dog under control. There is no way a dog chasing something off leash is going to respond to yells of 'come here'. A dog is only under proper control when it is on the leash.
L
Luca
It would be better if we had those laws here! There is a thing that is called "voice control" here but you really only see that with like, super high-level obedience trained dogs. It wouldn't be able to be used as an excuse in a public setting like this, anyway.

We do have leash laws in some places here, and my neighborhood has a leash law. Dogs have to be on a leash 100% of the time unless they are in your backyard, or in a park with a fence around it. People letting their dogs run loose in any neighborhood is a liability.

Don't move to Florida, same problem here.

I'm sorry you've been through sexual harassment, it's terrible especially when it happens in the area you live in. It takes the security away and antagonizes. Lots of women go through this kind of disrespectful behavior from men, you are not alone. We aren't objects for their rating and entertainment, surely they wouldn't dare talk to their mothers like that. Nobody likes that, they need to stop it.

Dogs with countless bites in their history still get trained by special case trainers, 'last hope' for a dog which nobody would dare take or let live otherwise. These specialists are so good that they prove any dog can indeed have a fulfilling life within their family and society. That's why they say, it's never the dog's fault, dogs can be trained. But a dog can be set for failure by his human, that's for sure.

Smaller dogs which are attacking bigger dogs is a proof that the dog is not thinking, they react to everything and become out of control. Such a thing would kill it if it weren't for supervisors, in this case Luca. It's against the laws of nature and is a costly mistake.
