My lab tests were all "normal" for the conditions that I do have. When I told the doctor he was kind of just like "Oh, it's fibromyalgia" but that felt kind of dismissive.

What you describe is called Paresthesia and can be caused by a compressed nerve or some form of nerve irritation or damage. I felt that with my Thoracic Outlet syndrome. Paresthesia can be associated with Fibromyalgia but the literature is unclear about the frequency.

Believe it or not, this is a common anxiety symptom. It can also be caused by more serious things of course, but it's also one of the main physical manifestations of anxiety

Thanks :) I don't feel anxious right now but I could be lol, I'm anxious so much of the time that I probably don't realize it anymore

I've been told that mine are just part of the whole 'anxious personality' and it even happens when I'm relaxed. Obviously that's just one potential cause, I just thought I'd mention it because that's apparently where mine comes from since everything else has been essentially ruled out

That's actually very helpful. I have an incredibly anxious personality too. I think I come across as pretty self-assured but I definitely mask my anxiety lol

Do you suffer from fatigue?
L
Luca
Yes, I do

I have severe adrenal fatigue. You might want to look it up. If you can get a blood test done which tests your cortisol levels as well as your adrenals, it would probably be beneficial.

Be careful with potassium salts along with phosphates. They can damage the kidneys in excess. Lack of Niacin may be implicated in what you are experiencing.

Parethesia: Causes, Treatment, and More I hope this information helps It could be nerve damage related to high blood sugar levels or something else listed at that link. I'd definitely see a neurologist for that. In my case I get prickly skin sensation symptoms on whole body for hour after high doses of niacin for b.lipid reasons

You could look up the pituitary glands as well. I'm not sure if it's over or under working of the gland, but it's worth a look. It's important not to self diagnose though. Do your research and then let your medical practitioner decide.
