I used to live in Eighty Four ,Pennsylvania, home of 84 Lumber.
It was a census designated place too, because there really isn't a designated town.

Originally, 84 was called Smithville, but due to a postal mixup of a larger town in our commonwealth that had the same name, they were asked to change it.
No one knows for certain why 84 was chosen, but one popular rumor was that it was a designated mile marker on the rail line that passes thru it.
