Good luck with your project. Be careful though, dogs can accidentally get 'redecorated' if they come in to see what is going on. ;)

It took me forever to figure out a color theme but I’m doing furniture in a washed gray with some colorful accents (complimenting the colors in my Oriental rug seen in a lot of my dog pics.)

I did that many years ago and never looked back. Love the idea of my living room having coordinated colors and a sense of uniformity.

Though black leather, chrome and teal accents aren't for everyone.
