We had a blue 240 DL estate when I was a child. I still remember the different controls on the heater glowing different colours on the way back from my Nan's house. Dad sold that car about 1997. I doubt it still exists though I would love to find it.

1989 740 GLE with 220,000 miles on it. Rare custom car with ABS and AC (options in 1989, came as standard in 1990). It was originally a Shell UK fleet car. We have had it since 1992. It failed it's MOT on structural rust and holes near the suspension in 2020.

I hope you can get the rust issues patched up and some fresh steel welded in. That'll be a very nice car all fixed up; it has less miles on it than my 1996 Toyota.
