I know you seem to be into videgames, I thought you maybe smashed some buttons for too long. Ah, sounds uncomfortable, it should heal in time. As long as it's not broken, nothing to worry about.

If it's broken, you might lose mobility of the joint. They can heal badly. Get an xray, if you suspect it's broken. Sounds like usual surface level injury. inflammation should go away within the week.
