I think not the weight or acne is the problem, but how you see yourself. I had acne as teenager too and really had problems with it, but I accomplished to evolve self confidence and then I looked much prettier too myself, even I looked the same than before.

I think without self confidence it is impossible to feel good, even when someone is the prettiest person in the world.

and I think it is totally normal to gain weight. sometimes there is more weight, sometimes less, we are living persons and underlie fluctuations with different reasons.

Sorry. I fell down hard last nite in trigger land. I left my bedroom at 3:00 today. I feel abused and fed up but nothing l can do. I will be living with a guy in 10 months. Just to escape abuse from other men.

I’m so sorry, Aspychata!! :( No need to put up with abuse. I hope you can find somewhere safe.

I get acne too. Yeah, it sucks. I wish I was perfect, I wish I had a perfect body.....but I'm a creep...I'm a weirdo. *

I heard red light works well on acne. Planet Beach has red light treatment. Not too expensive either.

We can have a virtual pity party.

Yeah, I feel I would be a lot more attractive if I had perfect skin. But we are all flawed somehow. They say, not to tie your self -esteem up in the physical. But most people do. And I don't see how you can avoid that.

I got cystic acne badly in my early 20s, after having peachy skin for my entire teenage years. Treated straightaway to avoid scarring. They tried me on antibiotics first, which I don't recommend for good reasons, for this. Then a female dermatologist put me on Roaccutane, and it fixed the problem.

The male doctors wouldn't do it because it's teratogenic, no matter how many times I assured them I could use contraception and wouldn't be having any babies at this stage of my life no matter what. Had to find a female doctor...acne is not great for self-esteem, and it can be really irritating and painful physically. Best to see a specialist, not put up with it.

Thanks for the advice!! :) I have a female doctor and will have to ask her about it.
I normally have very nice skin too but have occasional breakouts, that devastate me lol.
And yes, being ok with flaws is good too. :)

I've never had anything that would cause scarring. But I don't have fully clear skin either.
It's stress related, primarily cortisol. Stress hormone, Cortisol actually known to be a causative agent.
Also highfat diet & testosterone, causes oil overproduction, which clogs pores. Also a factor. I know this, because my skin was clear before puberty.
