Tonight I was described as a "shut-in" and told that I sleep all the time and don't leave my house. And that I will never be a normal person and it's a bad thing to not fit into society. This is essentially verbatim, not paraphrased. But that's the "honesty" I get from people who claim to be my friends.

I'm also getting sick of people asking me "Am I your only friend?"

Pet your dog. They care.

I already know that I need to stop hanging out with people like this. It's not good for my mental health. But I'm painfully lonely and I do have a desire for in-person connection. I'm not an introvert, or asocial. And I'll point out that most of my friends are not mean, it's specific people that I know I need to walk away from but some of them come as a package deal with some of my nicer friends.

Thank you @Wolfy Smurf . They do care. I really do prefer the company of my dogs but sometimes I get lonely for human contact :(

Hey Luca! That's pretty immature behaviour from these people, and it seems they're not particularly deep thinkers, nor very understanding or kind, so rate their opinions accordingly. It's just very average stuff, nothing that would get them considered for a personal advice column in a newspaper!

They probably mean well, but have limited understanding. One day they might learn not to make remarks like that, and become more useful with what they say to people. Maybe! ;)

If monkey-see, monkey-do makes people happy, they tend to try to prescribe it for others. Sort of like when people join a cult and then want to convert others to their "happiness"...
