I'll let you know! I am trying to use an Xlink Bluetooth gateway and connect a few older telephones to it. One is a '40s Bakelite rotary phone and the other is a very old candlestick from the 1910s (without a dial.) The early one I have to get restored first.

There are a few parts involved in the hooking up all this stuff--I have a tone converter already, to turn the pulse dialing from the rotary phone into touch-tone signals for modern cell calls. Then I need to find the Xlink converter (second hand, hopefully) and see if all this works.
