The manager had to come over and explain to him that she is a SERVICE DOG. He had been following me around asking me why I had a DOG in the store. Like isn’t it obvious that she’s wearing a vest?? UGH! >:[

Sorry this happened, Luca. Glad you felt better when you were back at home.
Watersprite, I hope you're ok after your incident with the wind. Wanted to respond to your profile post, but there wasn't a link to do so. Hope ok that I'm responding, here, Luca. Anyway, hope you're both doing well.

That must have been a drag.
How to tell the difference between service dogs and pets? I have a hard time telling the difference.

Luca
Thank you Loren <3 I’m ok now. Hope you’re ok too Watersprite.

Yeah - thank you, but it seems a spooky night.

@Gerontius Service dogs are required by law to have identification, and usually wear a vest with identification. Kodi has a vest and a collar with very obvious red identification patches, which makes me even more frustrated that that happened.

@watersprite A good night to cuddle with your cat and some tea :)

Oh wow. Awful manners on the part of the guy. I have seen some very fake service dogs but what business was it of this dude to hassle a professional trainer over a necessary dog? Crazy.
L
Luca
Yeah, he was a jerk.
You would know if they were fake based on the behavior. Service dogs are not robots, or “perfect,” but they are supposed to maintain a calm demeanor at all times and not be bothered by much. They are supposed to be responsive to and somewhat protective of their handlers (without displaying aggression.) I should have ranted about fake service dogs in the autism fakers thread lmao
L
Luca
Unfortunately service dogs and their handlers being harassed in public is relatively common :( And the fake ones ruin it for us.

Its not a guarantee of peace if that dog is accepted ,there's a blind girl called molly Burke ,with a minuscule amount of sight and she still gets stopped and hassled at airports ,there's another whose completely blind and gets!hassled in US airports what they think she could do boggles the mind,as she purposely asks them every step of the way.

From what I understand it happens a lot :/
I don’t like computers either. Hope you can get a better tablet.
