It is funny Aneka. When we used to go on holiday in the caravan without fail every time Mum cooked the smoke alarm went off. It drove her nuts!

Thanks Streetwise. The only reason the microwave oven was being used is because the two things being cooked last night needed different temperatures. Stupid non-standard food 
My old microwave produced lightning once...
