Turning on Air Conditioning after mice have gotten into a car is fragrant. (aka stinky.)

In that car the heater smells like a lighted kerosene lamp (I think the exhaust pipe leaks) and I'm in the process of making sure there aren't any baby mice, grown mice, nests, or anything else still in there. They're actually super cute but not good to have indoors or in the car.

I have a live trap for mice and a thing to keep batches of them, if I have to catch multiples and then, later, transport them.

@tree that sounds like a great idea! I've live-caught possums before (and they have the cutest tiny hands.) But anyway I might have to make a live mousetrap.

I've caught possums in hava heart type traps, and by hand, too. Meaning grab them. The live traps for mice look like miniature possum/coon live traps. Same manufacturer.

Have removed four mice and that was all of them. I caught them in snap traps as it's too cold to release them into the wild. Not wanting to waste them I put them out where they were eaten by the local red fox who comes out at night.
