It sucks that we feel like we have to hide it from some people :/ My neighbors don’t know I’m autistic (or trans/nonbinary) and I never plan on telling them… I’m scared it would make things uncomfortable.

I don't know how one would hide the whole trans/nb/whatever thing.
The landlady/neighbor/same difference here showed up in the middle of a final and ended up screaming at me over my attempt to decline a bunch of TV dinners she was trying to give me

I like to try to be open & accept peoples' gifts but I tried to respectfully decline here mainly because she'd been saying she was trying to fatten me. (I get it I'm underweight; I eat about 1 or 2 meals a day as I am a student & writer. This is not a strenuous lifestyle. Were I back in manual labor, I would eat like I ought.)
