Admitting I needed therapy was hard. But if I wasn’t being treated for what I have, I think I would really be suffering.
You made a good decision. It’s good to take care of yourself :)

I've needed it for a long time but was not raised wiht the mentality of self-care in mind. I was raised in line with the Great Depression attitude of not wishing to be a burden on other people. This is not a bad thing but it can get to be a hassle.

The thing is, the paperwork & fees also make me want to avoid it.
A couple symptoms of high functioning autism at its more annoying sides are the lack of executive skill.
