What does it really mean to you as I am English I’ve never really known what it meant apart from the history that I learned from some books and television

The only thing I can think of is St. Georges day patron saint of England Or Saint Andrew Scotland or Saint David Wales in public schools that I attended we didn’t perform a play about it or eat a meal.
