I am so very thankful to have had the privilege to have lived, I am surprised to have taken so long to understand the value of the experience. In my youth, meaning up to my late fifties I was always struggling to find a something, or obtain a something even become a something. There always seemed to be a shinny object to chase. Now in reflection of the past it is amazing how almost all of them have lost their importance. All that remains is memory, but what rings as important is the lesson learned during the process. How and why did I change myself, not how much money and or prestige was obtained or lost... but how much of myself was I willing to sell to obtain what I no longer own, need or consider necessary. I am proud to have learned what little I have, and hope to continue my curiosity... like a game of Monopoly when it's over, all the money & houses put away, all you can take with you is how you played the game.
