I was born and raised within the counterculture, in the heyday of the Haight-Ashbury and Berkeley scenes. I've been here ever since. Like some social experiment from that generation of parents, it has shaped me. Redefining this has been a challenge. Seeking and finding new expressions of alternative community. Me and my two wonderfully insane children have hit the balance between whimsy and practicality, and lead a chaotic, active, unconventional life. I find my foot planted firmly on the road less traveled, and enjoy the company of those I find there.
