Hi, I am a self-diagnosed Aspie, although I've read that this term has now been incorporated into Autism.

I have always been the odd one out. Never felt like I fit anywhere. Socially awkward. Never really had any long-lasting friendships and getting older, it has become harder to make new ones.

I have quite a few interests. Music is something I've been obsessed with since childhood. Art and creativity is another lifelong interest. I have also always collected natural objects such as pebbles, stones, cones, acorns, plants and such. Natural world fascinates me.

Reading is another strong interest. I'd rather get lost in a book than socialise, unless I can do so on the Internet, from the comfort of my own home. Hence why I am here: to connect with others who are a little bit more like me.
