Hello, I’m a 30 year old cisgendered Autistic woman. I want to specify that though I selected “High Functioning” Autism as my diagnosis, I don’t really subscribe to functioning labels... I only remember the child psychologist saying at the time that he would have diagnosed me with Aspergers but he knew that designation was on it’s way out of official diagnoses. Still, I identify as Autistic over Aspie when given the choice.

I love fanfiction, webcomics (currently actively following Gunnerkrigg Court, O Human Star and Namesake), Fullmetal Alchemist, Harry Potter, Queer Eye, and so many other things, but I wouldn’t say I’m in the strong grip of any special interests right now. I also love singing, cooking, and making beginner/intermediate origami from youtube tutorials.

I got my post secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education and worked in that field for several years before I burned out in a major way. I’ve really struggled with anxiety and depression and have been on Disability for a few years, trying different things to enter a new career. I’m fascinated with communication, with how I and others think and act and how that helps and hurts us. I’m currently working on starting a youtube channel to help others, spread awareness for mental health and neurodivergent mental health, and also to just entertain. Hopefully I can learn from you and also create content that can help support you!
