HydrangeeBleue

I'm a "middle-aged" woman diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (as I prefer to call it) late in life but who can often pass as "normal". I usually get a lot of "but you don't look or act like that" or a good laughter (as if it's a big joke) when I finally muster the courage to let people know.

My husband is "neurotypical" (I question that but that's another story) and we have 2 adult children, one of whom is also on the spectrum. I work "part-time" teaching at a college and doing research but that keeps me busier than someone working full-time.

My favorite pass times: reading, learning/discovering new stuff (not the news or anything sad or depressing), expressing myself through visual arts and music, and lying in my bed after a long day.
