I am about half and half AS and NT (the best of both 
It serves me well in the corporate research environment -- (hypersystemetizer, high focus, think outside the box, great problem solver), and it also is a curse because of my extremely overactive insula (mirror neurons unusually active = high empathy = feel others' pain).
