Always had an 'in the world but not of it' relation to the human world. Something of an under-achiever in the eyes of many people. If I've got 'something to do' in a situation or for other people: then I'm sorted; at least as long as others acknowledge and like me. I find sensory experience (when I can get to it) intoxicating, and find most cultural and academic/scientific knowledge only a little credible.

I'm fascinated and amazed by the forms and content of human experience and meaning. I write a lot. I like solving other people's 'problems' through the technical things I can do; that gives me a place, and sees anxiety focus on the technical thing rather than me.
