    I just finished a book called Overwinter by David Welligton. Prior to that, I started Twilight. Question: Does anybody else think it obsessive that I had to grab a pen and start editing Stephanie Meyer for grammar and style?

    I'm not sure if I can view profiles either. I've been submitting and submitting and getting the "it sounds interesting but its not suited to our needs at this time..." letters. Meanwhile, Simon and Schuster is publishing Hillary Duff's monstrosity. There is no God, I fear.

    I just finished the first draft of my first novel 90,000 words, 352 pages... it's just a first draft and I'm having people read it and give me notes on it, but hey, I'm infused with pride.

    Perhaps if we defined obsessions, a bit? I mean, if I'm unemployed and looking relentlessly for a job... Is that an obsession? If I'm writing a comedic play and I keep trying to bring it up in discussions with NT's in order to test my jokes... Is that (gulp) an obsession? If a girl I attend...
