    I totally get that. My kids think it's funny that I'm so addicted to the smell of new and old books. Reading is so comforting that I just love the smell of books and makes me feel instantly more comfortable.

    I had never heard of stimming. It's a bit of a shocker to realize that I'm 40 and I've done this in socially accepted forms all my life.     Hi Kari, I'm not diagnosed, but my daughter's therapist suggested I look here and on several other sites. She suspects that my daughter and I both have it. My daughter is waiting diagnosis, and I don't seem to have the time. My youngest has ADHD and PDD-NOS, and my other son is an alphabet soup...
