These are each 10' long. Today, crustaceans in arctic waters demonstrate giantism. Trilobites followed this, as Morocco was in Antarctic waters in the early Ordovician, the age of this specimen.
@Roxiee, they are fascinating creatures. In your neck of the woods there are trilobites found in the quarries of Dudley, near Birmingham. They were called Dudley Bugs by the locals.
 
Yes. I have also been working with a young preparator whose family is in the fossil business in Alnif, Morocco. He is helping me get together at least one trilobite from each Family, and I am happy to purchase from him and sent him a state of the art microabrasion tool. I've been cataloging the Trilobites since they will be donated to a University. Trilobites are one of my interests.
