The trunk floor, fuel tank mounts and rear body mounts were cut out and replaced with tubing to help shed more weight.
An aluminum fuel cell will serve as the next tank with an aluminum trunk floor.

First fitment of a Howe aluminum radiator out of a NASCAR Winston Cup ride.
All of the front end inner sheetmetal and the radiator core support were replaced with tubing to reduce her weight.
