So I'm diving into the world of Linux. I'm leaning the most into Ubuntu Studio for my distro of choice as I do a lot creatively. However, I'm also planning on going back to school for IT. Any recommendations for programs or even a different distro that would fit my needs? I'm still pretty new to all this.

There are two mainstream distributions that most of the others are derived from, these are Ubuntu and Fedora. I recommend sticking with either of those as they have the most support. If you want more advice it might be better to start a proper thread, the blogs have an 80 word limit which restricts responses.
I had such a busy October that November was entirely spent recovering and sleeping a lot. The price to pay of the boundary crossing mentioned in last post.
Incidentally I wrote some great music this month as a result too. Composition has a weird bond with turmoil.
My final essay is done for the most part. I also have to do a “cover letter.” That’s new to me.

So it's similar to a Reaction paper, but about your own writing.
What you learned, how the process went...etc.

Besides job application, the term “cover letter” is also new to me :D

I literally am fixing to graduate next spring and I've never heard of a cover letter. This is cool.

That sounds like a great thing. Just make sure you read the complications because this is important. But if this helps, your confidence will skyrocket and in general, that's good for you. I have had to really work on my confidence myself. It's tough.
Try the Wim Hof breathing technique. 30 deep breaths in/out in quick succession. No pause between inhale/exhale. Then deep breath in, out, then hold for 1 min. Exhale, then inhale, hold for 15 secs. Then back to the 30. Then repeat breath hold but for 90 secs. Do another inhale/hold 15 sec. Then another 30, then one final 90 second hold. I been doing them the past 3 days.

Yeah, I'm not doing the ice water nonsense. But the breathing stuff is pretty cool. 3 days in a row and the feeling I get afterwards genuinely is improved.
Nausea is gone and I was able to eat breakfast. Now I’m whitening my teeth lol

They’re already mostly white tbh, but having braces for years kinda messed them up a bit.
Woke up an hour early and very nauseous. Bleh

Ew, I’m really sick for some reason. I had eggnog before I went to bed last night and it was probably bad. I’m not only nauseous but have the chills and diarrhea. Fortunately I haven’t puked. Hopefully it will pass in a few hours.

Something that contains raw eggs is always a risk. Hope you feel better later Luca. Dog V4 sends an ear snuffle.
It's turned out to be a rather long day. After some stress, I think it turned out a little better than I had worried it would do. Thank goodness for small victories.

Photo of my weekly planner... Undisputably goals winning with me 3-0 since I bought it. (Worst comes to worst... (I don't give a poop)
To Love something, I have to hate it.
To hate something, I have to love it.
Why does it feel opposite, always?

@tree / please don't ask " I don't know, do You?"

If you were saying "Anything that makes me happy has the power to make me very sad"
that I would understand. But not:
"To Love something, I have to hate it.
To hate something, I have to love it.
"

How do you figure that to love something you have to hate it?
What does that mean?

It's simple! (I don't know at first but it is always the opposite... I guess?)

You might be able to find employment as a person who writes
trailers or blurbs for movies. Your posts frequently take on that
style: excitement of one sort or another, and just enough
information to make a person curious, but rarely so much
that it gives away the entire plot.

Excellent observation @tree . Good money in copywriting for ads, etc. Maybe you can consider this.
Today I got an email update from Coffin Comics and my order is expected to arrive this Friday!

Everything seems to be subscription based these days. I wonder if this new fangled electronic restrictions means that ECU remapping on modern Mercs is a no go.

Heard of this sort of thing awhile ago. BMW decided they want you to pay a subscription fee for seat heating. Just think about that for a second. What I really want to see is stories of people cracking these restrictions.
