WWE Legend The Undertaker is scared of Cucumbers, and his foes use it against him!

It really seems unreasonable that someone would be afraid of an innate object such as a cucumber. What is WWE? I’m guessing that with the name undertaker the character is from a comic book. Maybe being afraid of a vegetable is perfectly reasonable in this characters world. I certainly would bet establishing such a fear would be very tricky for the authors to develope. How close am I to reality?

What is WWE?

World Wrestling Entertainment (formerly WWF)
Not my cup of tea, but my ex used to watch it :D

And a scary cucumber

When in character, I'm certain the man is terrified of cucumbers. After all, such orchestrated antics likely play well to their target audience. I suppose the real challenge is making sure to remain in character any time someone produces a cucumber for the desired effect.

A dynamic that P.T. Barnum and Mark Burnett would have known well. As for the rest of us, we can all just carry on scratching our heads a bit.

Though I doubt you'll see anyone waving cucumbers at any Olympic wrestling venue. Pure athletics on the mat, without any drama- or props.

It appears to me that Mr. Undertaker is much more frightening than a cucumber. If I were the competition I would be happy that the lowly cucumber could be my defense.

A fascinating spin on our culture and entertainment. I would have never guessed that such a thing exists and I continue to feel that this is simply a ruse. It seems Mr Undertaker is part of a fighting entertainment group and after watching a bit of it one gets the feeling that it may be a bit of theater. Mr Allen, I don’t think Mr Undertaker is being honest about his fear of Cucumis sativus. I think it is part of the entertainment. It’s certainly something that makes one think the world has sank into silliness for sure. As a side note, the number one fear in the United States is the fear of public speaking. The fear of vegetables is much further down the list. Big smile.
