What fruit or vegetable would best be used to replace swear words and why?
Something you could start saying instead of the main swear words.

I was thinking :

Kumquats - self evident.

What about you?

Rutabaga (swede)- as its so difficult to prepare.

Fig and date have possibilities, as does quince in the fruit category. Peas, beets, taro and yam in the vegetable category might be possible, as they are all short and easy to say.

When I am in mixed company or if there are little ears around, I usually say "Balderdash". Unless I am really mad, then I say "Balderdash and Poppycock".
