What if "The Bloop" was real?

Another rather interesting video from Gojicenter that I thought might be interesting to share.

For those who don't know, "The Bloop" is an urban legend that arose in 1997 after an "ultra-low-frequency, high amplitude underwater sound" was detected in the Southern Ocean by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). According to their description, this sound rose in frequency over around a minute and was heard on multiple sensors at a range of over 5000 kilometers / 3000 miles; meaning this sound was louder than the sounds made by the largest animal living today - the Blue Whale - and led to many assuming that whatever made this sound must be an animal that was bigger than that.
As for why it's called "The Bloop", that's the nickname given to this hypothetical creature when the original sound was sped up to 16x its original speed.

While the sound nowadays has been attributed to an "icequake", pop culture still plays with the idea of an animal bigger than the blue whale lurking somewhere in the deep ocean - as well as multiple videos of it eating humans and various sea creatures, along with pitting it against giant monsters like Godzilla, Cthulhu and other made-up deep sea beasts.
In this video by Gojicenter, he goes over what the Bloop is and - based on pop culture - how big it is and how much it would take to feed an animal this big; finishing the video by making an effort to create a version of this hypothetical animal that is indeed bigger than a Blue Whale, but still biologically plausible.

Here's the video.
Word of Warning: For those of you who have Thalassophobia and are still reading this, be aware that this may likely be a scary video for you and you may wish to refrain from watching it:

I always thought the original "Bloop" came from Penny Robinson's discovery of an alien chimp she named "Debbie" between 1965 and 1966. But everyone else called Debbie the "Bloop", because of the sound the chimp made.

Well, we learn something new every day. :)

I remember first reading about The Bloop while looking up another unexplained noise, The Hum. I wish I had time to fully go down the rabbit hole of unexplained sounds, from Julia to skyquakes, to sounds that only happen in one town, or only happened once and were never heard again.

But let's not forget "The Fart"©®™, a terrible reverberation throughout the world, caused by the Earth's release of internal methane!
This one's no legend folks! It's for real, it's just the frequency is so low, no-one's ever heard it! But the smell ...!

That definitely sounds interesting.

At the same time, if any of those noises turned out to be made by monsters - biologically plausible or not - then I'd be getting out of there as fast as possible. :D

Definitely adds new meaning to the phrase "silent but deadly". :D

Even though I can't hear it, I've been a bit fascinated with the humsince it drives so many people crazy on a regular basis. That and the sky trumpets still seem to have no known origin just yet, which makes them a bit mysterious.

Also, the drones over NJ, but that one isn't very audible 😎

I heard The Hum myself a while back, I found a project that included a world hum map. Made a thread about it on here:

I tracked my hum down to maintenance work at a nearby water pumping station and thankfully it has since stopped.

I thought about doing some audio stuff like generating a tone that increased in frequency from about 40-100Hz then invert the wave to try to phase it out and pinpoint the exact frequency of the hum. I wonder if noise cancelling headphones would help, or if the frequency is too low for them to work.
