What have you got on your desk? Obviously, very personal items can be missed out. Write a list, or take a photo.

I've got:

a mobile phone.
a finished yoghurt pot with a spoon still in it.
A PC and keyboard
Desktop speakers.
A bookmarker.
An old mechanical clock, taken apart.
A screwdriver.
A cut out Christmas tree.
A router.
A stand for a wireless phone, with not phone in it.
A headset.
Lots of books.
An sticker.
A calculator
A mouse and mousepad
A tea mug.
a smooth, round stone
A tiger plushie
A printer
A box with assorted pens and pencils.
A globe
A Kindle recharger.
A post-it note.

my laptop

an empty coke can

papers
small plastic bags
a case with dvds
a blue ray copy of the fault in our stars
my external dvd player
a tv remote
a magazine
a phone
a bag with crayons in it
a small box
a lamp

You'all are making me feel so good. My desk is a mess and I hate messes but can't seem to garner the motivation to clean it up.

Three pads of different sized paper: post it notes, a ruled writing pad, small sketchbook.

Three small containers holding writing/drawing tools: one with paintbrushes, protractor, a brush for cleaning my keyboard, one holding pencils/scissors, another with pens and markers.

Two small glass dishes holding keys, change, a manicure set, calculator, lip balm, a pebble, marbles.

Phone, ear muffs/protectors, computer monitor and tower, mouse & keyboard, speakers, lamp, fan.

Please don't tell me that aspies can't be bothered with trivia. This thread (and many similar ones) proves otherwise.

- A phone
- Two kinds of paper clips
- My computer
- Dual monitors
- Energy drink cans
- A rainbow of highlighters so I can color-code crap
- Legal pad

If you don't like it, you don't have to participate.
Edit: Some aspies can't be bothered with trivia.
What is, or isn't trivia, is subjective.

I have pretty much the same, + or - a few things. Also, somewhere in there (I can not see it right now) I have a small sign that says "A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind".

Today I plan to clean my desk.
Yesterday I planned to clean my desk.
Wednesday I planned to clean my desk....

A non-exhaustive list:

1) A small cream and aqua ramekin I purchased because I liked the size and shape. There is presently a wooden egg painted with swirls sitting in it that my daughter gave me, but I empty it every night and sort pills and vitamins into it.

2) A desk organizer overstuffed with bills, greeting cards, cough drops, essential oils, receipts, several sizes of scissors, pens, pencils, back scratcher, glue stick, plastic spoons, a couple thermometers, (one in need of a battery), lemon verbena hand lotion, a small bottle of kahlua, lip balm, photos, catalogs, business cards...

3) A dropper bottle of berry flavored B12.

4) Two types of face cream.

5) A small lotus-shaped dish full of jewelry and painkillers.

6) Batteries.

7) Dry shampoo.

8) Rose-scented body lotion.

9) L'Occitane lemon verbena cologne.

10) A dish of polished and natural stones, shells and fossils.

11) An antique mirror.

12) A lamp.

13) Assorted fountain and calligraphy pens and bottles of ink.

14) A tea cup.

15) A covered dish.

16) I-pad.

17) Manuka honey.

18) Altoid tin full of sweet-n-low packets.

19) Paper towels.

20) .... no. I'm stopping there. I've got at least 20 more items to catalog.

Maybe I'll clean my desk tomorrow......

- cup of tea
- pencil with the phrase "The truth is out there" printed on it
- notebook
- pencil sharpener
- eraser
- those post-it sticky divider things
- mouse
- mouse pad
- keyboard
- monitor
- desktop tower
- headphones
- Pusheen the cat plushie
- hourglass that only has 28 mins worth of sand in it
- broken clock
- fidget cube
- tiny hydra speaker
- 10th Doctor sonic screwdriver
The following Funko pops:
- Tardis
- Dalek
- 10th Doctor
- cup full of pens and pointy things
- box set of William Shakespeare's Star Wars trilogy (so far I've only read Verily, A New Hope. Still have to read the other two.)

I had more Funko pops on my desk but I felt things were getting a bit cluttered.

A cherished paperweight made in the UK from my favorite aunt. It says, "Diplomacy- The art of letting someone have it your way". :p

Plus a phone, desktop calculator, computer speakers, monitor and wireless mouse/keyboard I'm using at this moment.

That's ALL? Maybe you can teach me how to do that.....
