STOMACH MIGRAINES?!

does anyone suffer from stomach migraines/ intense stomach pains with cramping etc?
I get them when my body is overloaded and can't digest food that I've recently eaten.
It's awful and was wondering if anyone else experienced this?

I did used to have stomach aches and puking,
for no discernible reason.....I had barium X-rays
when I was in high school to check for ulcers.

No ulcers.

Doctor gave me belladonna for my "nervous stomach."
That's what he called it.

As it turns out, I am allergic to nightshades and belladonna
is a nightshade, so that didn't really work out.

I had some regular migraine (headaches) when I was 12.

The x-rays showed only that my stomach emptied slowly
when I was under stress/was anxious. Not a particularly
unusual finding, actually.

Belladonna is an extremely toxic plant. There is no scientific evidence that such a thing can be helpful in treating illness. What kind of physician would prescribe such a thing and not be a total quack doctor?

He'd investigated as far as he cared to, by ordering the X-rays.
So, here's a prescription for this liquid, he says to my mom.
She should give it to me, when I get a stomach ache associated with
vomiting.

Like I say, that didn't really work out.
