Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic trilogy

So I heard they might be making a new Star Wars trilogy and it might be based off the Old Republic this is really exciting to me ! I love the video games the characters are awesome ! And I'm not a big fan of the new movies I am personally excited about this I hope it happens I'm a big Star Wars fan this is kind of like my dream trilogy like get see characters like Dearth Revan and Malak do you think this will happen? tell me what you think !
 
If KOTOR were to be made into a linear entertainment format, it'd make a much better TV epic than a series of movies IMO. There's too much material to cram in to 3 movies. Movie formats more often than not butcher the source material (with notable exceptions) whilst the longer-form TV format has the space to accommodate more of the nuances of the book, or in this case RPG, they are based on.

A lot will depend on the reception of "The Mandalorian" which I am rather looking forward to.
 
I also didn't like the new Disney films as much as the Lucas ones. Who will do the new Trilogy if its done?
 
I believe with an Old Republic Trilogy they have a chance to do things right I think about all the merchandise sales that would help to!
 
I'd love it if they did something in that era. I absolutely loved SWTOR, played through the main story with every class but the trooper because I couldn't handle hearing Jennifer Hale voice someone in the military after what happened to Commander Shepard. They did make male Revan with the Bastila Shan romance cannon, so we've had time to get over our Revan not being cannon for a few years.
 
Pretty exciting news! I loved KOTOR 1 and 2, and have even played a good share of SWTOR. It will most likely be a breath of fresh air for the series, since Disney has seemingly only been riding off the back of the original trilogy for so long. I've seen enough X-Wings and Death Star knock offs, I think a new trilogy in a new era will be great.
