Peace and passion for ALL
Please bear with me...I'm not social media savvy and I get confused navigating my way around (which you've already noticed LOL).
Would you be able to do a print screen for me, or explain, what a 'signature' is, where it is on a post and what info can and cannot be included.
I've done multiple searches on this topic and can't find the relevant info. I just want the nitty gritty of it, if possible
Thanks

Sure.
Here's @tree 's Signature.
The highlighted area is the Signature.

That was a post from the game thread NO HURRY
The Signature remains the same, regardless of where the post is made.

As is evident, if you are reading this particular post which I have written in
response to your question. See? Signature. Just below the dotted line.

Thanks! I've noticed some posters' signatures to be very lengthy, detailed, etc., but I guess that's personal choice.

What about 'status'? What's that all about?

There's a simple Profile Post option

And there is the Online Status, which is entirely different thing.

If I were to unclick that box, my avatar would not show a green triangle on it
when I am on-site.

Sorry, clicking those little boxes didn't work for me, but it's ok (I think the server is having issues...) You get an A for effort. I guess I'll figure it out in time. Or I'll figure out what you were saying about unclicking. Maybe my mind's just not engaged enough today.

When I say "Unclick" I mean *click in a box that already has a check mark in it.*
That removes the check mark.

There are a lot of things you can do with your posts.
Some of it is fun. Like changing your Avatar photo. Which I never do because I learn to recognise
people by their photo more than their usernames.

There are places in your profile to put test numbers and diagnosis if you want.

The signature can be some quote that fits how you feel or your personality. Anything really.
I put the frog head emoticon on mine because I have pet frogs and the signature quote is from a song
that fits how I feel about life. :)

I love frogs! Do you have a terrarium?

@Mindf'Elle'ness

"Sorry, clicking those little boxes didn't work for me...."

What does that mean?
I feel like I'm being too stupid :confounded:to even ask a question about this. Your responses yesterday are appearing today and then disappearing so there must be some connectivity issue on my end. I think I'll just watch for green triangles. Thanks so much for your responses!

@Mindf'Elle'ness No. I have a screened in swimming pool and porch.
I have it full of potted plants and that's where the frogs live.
Lots of room and it's like being outside for them without the dangers.

They have their own little places each one likes to live. They have families.
Like the female, male and the baby. I have two families of them like that and they live together
in their own seperate flower pots.
Others are just loners. Two live in a plastic pipe. One pipe for each.
Others in hanging pots and flower pots. Nine all together.
They sleep through the day and come out to play around at night.
I grow my own superworms for them and keep bowls of water sitting around for them to get in.
It keeps them out of the pool, most of the time!

They are very tame and watch for me to come out with their food at night.
I talk to them like any type of pet and they will sometimes crawl over onto my hand and look at me.
Next project: When I get the pool area all spring cleaned I want to get giant praying mantis started out there
too.
