Question about what happened to communication delay I had.

I have been wondering about what happened to communication delay I had.

I used to have speech delay and trouble understanding some social cues, but when I started therapy, my social skills improved and it feels like I only have restricted interests and repetitive behaviors.

I do have trouble with social-emotional reciprocity, but it's mild.

It sounds like you found some strategies that improved your issue of communication delay. You went to therapy, so you got help and as you say, your social skills improved. Well done!

I agree with Thinx, progress is happening!

But, the absence of difficult things, once we resolve them, can be a bit disorienting and takes some getting used to. Keep up the good work, I know it’s hard, but seeing results is very encouraging.
