In this thread we can post fun ideas we have for crafts.

I'll start. I thought this was neat. How to make a rose out of rolled up maple leaves:

This one looks very easy. Crochet a star pillow.

It seems like you would just crochet or knit equal sized large squares and then attach them all in a star pattern.

These are very nice. Where I am I can always get sea shells but I haven't done anything with them because I have no room for the tools. That, and I am lazy. But I love crafts.
One of my biggest regrets about moving to the boat is I had to give up my kiln.

I give all of these ideas "winner, winner, chicken dinner" (or hot dog weinner if you prefer):p
 
I saw this video last night, and I'm in love with the idea. One thing though, if all that's holding that skirt together is a thin bit of string, I'd definitely sew on a hook and eyelet, or at least use a heavier weight thread!
