When I was only 10 I started the ambition to be a game developer. I had ideas for all sorts of games with unique concepts. But when I actually tried to execute one of my ideas, I wasn't good at it. I knew nothing about programming or coding.
Now I do, with Python.
OpenInvaders is my very first game project and it's, as you'd think, a clone of Space Invaders. The big difference is that it will be open-source, and I will eventually make the source code available on a website, so, if anybody knows how to use Python and program in it, they can make changes to the game and publish them, if they wish.
I followed a couple tutorials on YouTube, as my learning disability hinders some progress in learning to program, but I got it done for the most part!
A look at some of the game's code:
And a look at the game itself:
I am not passing up the opportunity to expand on this! My career starts here!
