New member from the UK here.

Hi all,

I just found this site by chance, and wanted to say hi.

My name is David and am 50, but diagnosed formally 6 years ago.

I am golf professional coach, but have been in and out of contracts for as long as I can remember, and have lived at 50 different addresses, money never seems to last.

I look forward to making friends here.

Cheers.

Hi David!

If I may ask a question? You mentioned contracts, as did "Bronwyn;" what are contracts in the U.K., and how are they related to employment?

Hello David and welcome to the forums.
I think you'll like it here. A lot of nice people.
Contracts in UK mean the agreements of hiring to employment and defining vacation time, holidays,
amount of work time PT or Full etc. Is this correct?

Hi Susan, and thanks.

Yes contracts come in many forms, car sales contracts, contracts of employment/self-employment, building contracts.
