Here's the Cratchit residence, tucked in behind a flour mill that is beyond a tavern, an auto repair facility and a junkyard:

Nitro is the only person in the world that has a repair shop and junk yard in their Christmas village!
Sooo Nitro ( good thing).

Love the retro, especially the erector set and the metal cars. I used to have that same purple metal hotrod and loved it - but it was light blue.

Some of the food I made yesterday and today as a volunteer at the seniors home for their christmas lunch tomorrow. Note: These are not my photos, I found these on the web, this is the same kind of food I prepared for the seniors, along with six other people.

A little Christmas lights action, downtown, our iconic Calgary tower, skaters, Christmas tree, lights... A photo I took on the 5th of this month... Will probably wander by the same spot tonight for awhile...

Well, that's about as close to a real open fire as I'm going to get, but I like it :)

@Nitro

Very nostaigic! Thanks for sharing.

Great seeing that Erector Set. Childhood memories....:cool:
I mostly do it all for the kids that are a part of my world.
I like doing it as well, plus I get to show off some of my older stuff :cool:

I went to a friend's Christmas party and their family is so extraordinarily kind and amazing and they gave me a watch but I couldn't believe they gave me anything and I was the only non-family member in attendance so I couldn't believe I was actually invited and talking to everyone there was incredible and I played piano for them to sing Christmas songs and they loved it! :)

I just got home - went to my daughter in law's family's Christmas eve. Her mother has basically become my best friend, too. But they always include me and they are wonderful people. I know how loud they all are so I was smart and brought a fidget to fidget with as I sat in a chosen spot out of the way, in the corner and close to the food (so I wouldn't have to get up to fix my plate. lol) But as part of her Christmas present I took my good camera to get a family photo for her and will have it enlarged and framed. Oh, she got me a nice soft blanket and a cute little pillows that says "I like big mutts". :) But I'm home now - the rest of the evening they will have just family and I get to chill. :) Hope everyone on this forum has a merry Christmas and that it's the Christmas you want.
