Especially when we watch and listen to dogs' teaching closely and attentively.Dogs teach us a lot of things !
My husband and I have four rescued-cats. Next door, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law have twenty-five or so rescued cats and five dogs. Two of their cats spend their time over here at our house. I assume that they stay over here all the time because over twenty cats cannot always be peaceful for them. All animals can teach us a lot of things if we take the time to pay attention.
Even though I am a cat person, as if no one could tell, I feel very connected with all of our animal friends. Especially birds and cats.
I've learned a lot by observation and connectedness with all creatures.
Humans are more difficult.
And being a childless cat woman, (popular phrase today), is just alright by me.
